I don’t know about the rest of you out there, but I’m tired of all the election ballyhoo.  Too much money is spent; too much acrimony among the candidates.  We’ll see how it all pans out this November, but I’m not expecting any miracles.

Unfortunately a lot of the negative things discussed in my techno-thriller Full Medical are happening a lot faster than I could have imagined, from the health care crisis to terrorism.  Fortunately we have not had any more terrorist attacks on American soil, but it is only a matter of time.  The war on terror will probably be fought in this country and our standard military approach will not cut it.  E-mail me with your thoughts on this – I’d like to discuss these things intelligently and dispassionately with my readers.

Look for the short story “Character Assassination” in Amazon Shorts.  It’s related to Full Medical, but is intended to be humorous.  Unfortunately Amazon Shorts has gone on a temporary vacation (I just squeezed in under the wire, so to speak), so I won’t be posting more short stories there.  But you can find more of my stories at www.editred.com/smmoore … and at www.ourecho.com – take a look at stories by other authors there too.  (added 7/31/08)
